Pewter Silicone 60 Sh A – Half Soft – Specific Tin Alloy

TECHNICAL DATA SHEET

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Pewter quality. A range of flexible silicone molds, specially designed for the centrifugal casting of low melting tin alloys (pewter).

This new generation of molds, the result of long experiments, both in the laboratory and in industry, is characterized by optimized mechanical qualities.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

High resistance to pulling.
Low viscosity before vulcanization (raw) which facilitates handling for the preparation of the mold and the nailing of the parts, minimizing the “refusal” effect.
Great flexibility, which allows the release of complicated parts.
High resistance to metal abrasion.

WHICH REFERENCE TO CHOOSE?

The choice of silicone depends on several factors: shape of the part, weight / volume ratio, type of metal, resistance of the model, etc .:
